- the gala was held here and featured a live singer, DJ, food, wine, silent auction, and great company -

Bar Lola
- after the gala, we rested and sipped sangria in this Spanish cave-lounge -

2. #NYCadventure

Central Park, Sheep Meadow
- Grant and I spent a whole day walking from 1st Ave and 1st St. all the way through Central Park to the Upper West Side -
- the weather was perfect -

Yaffa Cafe
- Grant and I came here for brunch on the porch -
- one of my favorite eclectic, quirky restaurants in NYC -

Bohemian
- Grant and I came here for dinner for my last night in NYC -
- I ordered the miso cod, per usual -

3.  The Great Googa Mooga

The Great Googa Mooga
- David and I went to the first annual GGM in Prospect Park, Brooklyn -
- GGM is a food and wine festival that offers local cuisine and music to attendees -
- Mother in Law’s Kimchi, Champagne by Terry Theise, and Milk Bar’s cereal milk ice cream were my favorite vendors -

– the best musical performance at GGM was by Peelander-Z, a Japanese group -
- the five band members dress in bright colors and look like they’ve stepped out of a comic book -
- at one point, one band member jumped rope and did the limbo in a squid costume -
